The record label Amen Companny Records is proud to present EYS, an emerging DJ and producer discovered through the Groover platform. Her most recent collaboration, “Zahra”, with Baladeva Balarama, has captured the attention of the electronic community with its hypnotic and uplifting atmosphere, ideal for deep and emotional dance floors.
An inspiring trajectory EYS, born in the 90s in a small town in Tuscany, has a rich cultural heritage that combines roots in Spanish gypsies and a mixture of Belgian and Italian ancestry. From an early age, EYS demonstrated his passion for music by playing drums in a rock band, an experience that shaped his musical development and stage presence.
In 2010, EYS moved to Milan, where it connected with the city’s vibrant underground music scene, marking a pivotal moment in its artistic evolution. In 2021, he co-founded The Hanumans, a project that led him to perform on the most important stages in Italy and to share the bill with renowned artists such as Armonica, Acid Pauli, Red Axes, Kino Todo, Foolik, Pauli Pocket and Carlita. During this period, EYS honed their sound and experimented with innovative techniques that propelled The Hanumans to climb the international charts.
From Collaboration to Success “Zahra”, released on November 15, 2024 under the Harabe Black label, is the result of the collaboration between EYS and Baladeva Balarama, founder of the Kamala Festival. This first collaboration seeks to embody a hypnotic and uplifting atmosphere, reflecting the artists’ shared passion for refined sounds.
A New Chapter At the end of 2024, EYS decided to dedicate herself completely to her solo project, embracing the next chapter of her musical journey. With its rich cultural heritage and experience in the music scene, EYS is ready to continue to surprise and captivate the global audience.
